Muffy- the 10 years old Maltese
Madam Tan is happy to see Muffy everytime he came back from grooming when King send him back personally.
Milo- Maltese , 5 months old - A tea cup size Maltese
< Look at the smile on mummy's face
one for the camera.
.
shake shake shake.....also for the camera. hehe
Milo is only 5 months old, it was her second time grooming. As a puppy, she moves and want to play with my grooming tools, and scissor....
I took much care in grooming puppies and to give them lots of TLC.
I did not intent to groom too much from Milo.. as I wanted Milo to enjoy the grooming session rather then fear from it.
At the end of the bath and styling session, Milo is well behave and acting like an big girl already.
The whole grooming was done by hand scissoring and Milo get a Puppy Cut, what else can a puppy get right?

--------------------------------
If a puppy learns right from the beginning that being handled, combed and brushed is not something not to be feared but is associated with pleasant experiences, things will go a lot more easily down the road (the road of life that is).
Remember, the sensitive period of learning continues through 14 weeks of age, though puppies still absorb information at a rapid rate through the juvenile period (up to 6 months).
If an owner teaches the pup how to accept grooming at this early stage, grooming will never be a problem for the rest of the dog's life. If, however, an owner pins the dog and comes at it rudely with a wire pin brush, the negative consequences of this experience could cause a lifelong aversion. The fact that some dogs enjoy being groomed while others try to bite their groomers is testimony to the dichotomy that exists.
